The Woods at Golden Given

For this Habitat for Humanity Tacoma-Pierce County project, Convene Principal Eric Higbee worked alongside community members  during community workshops and a two-day design session to develop a space for a new common house that best meets the community’s needs on a limited budget. Features include an indoor/outdoor space for community gatherings, a place for performances and small events, direct connections to the adjacent playground, and artwork infused throughout.

After the Common House was built, Eric facilitated a two-day community work party, where neighbors created artistic benches and banners.
